In a village there was no rain for many years and the people in that village was worried that they can’t have enough grains to sow in the upcoming year and they were already facing a drought and famine situation
So, the head of the village called for prayer and everyone was informed that they must gather in a big ground to pray and a little boy’s family was also been called
The little boy took an umbrella with him and grandpa asked him why are you taking this now?
The little boy said ” Grandpa We are going to pray to God for rain and God will answer our prayers, then we cannot come to our home in rain without an umbrella; that’s why I take this.Grandpa smiled and he said why cant we wear our raincoats?
So, they both went out to the prayer meeting.
Every one laughed at them for wearing a rain coat in that scorching sun
But when they started to pray God immediately sent the rains with thunder and lightning everyone put their face down but the grandpa and his grandson were very happy to see their prayers answered
