What is ur armour?

Armours used by famous characters in the bible:

Moses: a rod

David: a sling and a stone

Samson: donkey’s jaw bone

Jael: nail and hammer

Elijah and Elisha: a cloak

Joshua: trumpet

U and me: ?

When Jesus comes to your home…

Every one of us pray to Jesus to be with us always and God has surely promised us in

 Matthew:28:20

“I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”

So, there is no doubt, Jesus christ is with us; living with us and loves us.

This is just a story of what happens when Jesus comes and knocks our doors; are we ready to open our home and heart?

Song of Solomon :5:2 
“I was asleep, but my heart was awake.

Story:

There lived a family of 3 cute children Hannah,Peter,Susan with their parents Mr.and Mrs. Benny and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Daniel.

Mr.Benny house

On a beautiful day when the sun was just on the way to home, everyone in mr.Benny’s home was so busy with their work.

Hannah was sitting on the sofa polishing her nails with much care watching her favourite T.V.show and she heard someone knocking their doors.

Hannah said to herself who is that I don’t think it is some important person why should I care?

The door was kept on knocking…..

Who is that Hannah? dad, Mr.Benny questioned as he was checking his office emails on laptop .

I don’t know dad

Just check it; Mrs.Benny yelled at her, because she was disturbed (Mrs. Benny was talking with her best friend in phone)

Why should I sit here; everyone is disturbing me; Hannah went to her room

Door was knocking again…..

Peter who was in deep sleep woke up and shouted “why can’t someone open the door and check”

He slept again

Little Susan who was playing with her grandparents at the backyard heard the sound and ran to the door and opened the door

 

She was so happy and the person introduced himself as Jesus Christ of Nazareth and kissed her

Susan went in and shouted Jesus christ has come everyone come out and see him.

All were shocked and everyone stopped their works and went to the door

Jesus smiled at them;

Benny said;My Lord Jesus please come in, so sorry, we delayed to open the door actually  we were all busy please come in; they welcomed him in

 

Jesus came to the living room he sat on the sofa

Susan sat on his lap and they don’t know what to do all of them were astonished to see his beauty

Jesus said why are you all standing sit down. They switched the t.v. off and sat down Jesus asked did you prayed today; they said Jesus we are sorry we did not have time to pray today.

So, he said shall we pray;

Hannah and peter went to search something; Susan was sitting on Jesus christ lap; Jesus asked what happened?

Mr.Benny replied actually we have a beautiful Bible my parents presented it for our wedding day

Are they searching for your Bible?

No, it was on the table only but we don’t know where it has gone; but Hannah said dad can you stand up please and they found it on the sofa 😦

Jesus was so much worried.

Then they read bible and prayed

 

Mrs.Benny said I’ll prepare dinner please don’t go please wait Dear Jesus

So, Jesus accepted it ; Susan said Jesus come I will show you our home

So Jesus saw their house was so dirty and unclean 

He did not enter any room but he looked into the Kitchen he saw the utensils were unclean and not washed and there was dust all over the place the floor was not cleaned

Then Susan said Jesus come to my room there she showed him her bible her toys her bed and her room was full of praises written to Jesus and her drawings 

Jesus was so much happy to see them and he kissed her and blessed her

Then Susan took Jesus to her grandparents room

But grandpa and grandma were so worried and they were crying

On seeing Jesus They were so much happy and bowed to him and welcomed him in.

Mr.and Mrs. daniel was not given respect in their home and food was not given to them properly no one showed them love except Susan Mr. and Mrs. Benny were busy with other works and so they forgot their parents.

Jesus blessed Mr and Mrs. Daniel and he blessed Susan and he disappeared.

My friend if Jesus comes to your home today what will he see?

I would like to quote to you a verse from Revelation 3

²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door [of the church] and continually knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him (restore him), and he with Me.
