The Chase

Its a continuous process, also we can say it is a compelling thing to go after the world and its beauty.

When a child is formed in a mother’s womb the parents plan ahead for that child to grow safely and securely in this world.

Like our God created everything for us even before we were born.

But there is something that everyone must focus, I will explain what it is in a few minutes.

Before that just consider why do we all study? why do we go for a work/ many works?

What is the reason for gaining fame at the university / even worldwide?

Why do we dress, speak , think for others approval?

Sometimes its very important and difficult to get it but we all want to do it anyway.

We all run, some firstly, some slowly, some very fast, but the question is why?

We need money to survive but why do we need it more than we could even handle it?

When our time comes and we reach heaven what do you think we would take with us, what will you tell Jesus you have done?

Bible says, “if you gain the whole earth yet lost your soul, what is your profit from that?“

Your money will be used by someone else, your fame will be forgotten, then why is this chase?

The Bible teaches us that, we must always love and follow Jesus Christ the eternal God, who will be with you forever

HE will save your soul from the eternal separation from God the father who loves you more than you love yourself.

God is not angry at you

you may ask me, “Then why is that I have problems”

Answer is ,”He is strict in raising you, so that you will not fall apart, and one day you will reach His presence happily.”

Believe the word of God that tells us “God loves us”

Seek His love and righteousness and all these things will be added to you.

Praise the Lord

Today, i am about to share a short story which is told in many countries and at many places the narration differs but the the story is exactly same.

Here i am writing about the version i have heard

There lived a mother with her son, she brought him up with great struggle and now he has grown up, he too loved his mother very much

He looked handsome and beautiful and he went to a job and met a woman and so he went to his mother and said he wants to marry that girl 

He thought she would be angry rather his mother was very happy and so he went to the girl and said that he wants to marry her but

She said i cannot have a mother in law who will control me because you love her so much which means you can at any time leave me

so i cannot marry you

He said what do you want me to do?

She said, “kill her!”

He was shocked

She continued, ‘and bring me her heart, as a proof’ ;whom do you love more, me or your old mother? decide for yourself.

He thought for a while, his heart changed; he said “accepted”

He went to his home with a knife 

At the door his mother was waiting for him to come for lunch 

As soon as he reached home, he said that, the girl whom i am going to marry asked your heart 

His mother understood what he was saying and so she said, my son, i love you, do whatever she asked you to do

He killed her and took her heart and ran from his home to see his friend

But on the way he slipped over a stone and fell down and his mother’s heart also fell down

So he tried to rise up and he heard his mothers voice coming from the heart saying “Are you hurt my son?  is it paining?” 

My friend God’s love is like this

He loves you even when you hurt His heart

HE is still with you and He is knocking your heart hoping that you will open it today

My son, My daughter, Listen to me

Now then, my sons, listen to me;
pay attention to what I say.
Do not let your heart turn to her ways
or stray into her paths.
Many are the victims she has brought down;
her slain are a mighty throng.

If you notice the words her and she you may wonder whom the verse is talking about?
When we read the whole chapter it is actually talking about the lust
Now Wait…

• What is lust?

I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Matthew:5:28

So, God wants us to stay away from this sin;

• But what can it do?

Many are the victims she has brought down;
her slain are a mighty throng. Proverbs:7:26

Really?

• Well, who are they?

Let’s see some of them from our Holy Bible
1.David:

A mighty warrior great King and a person after God’s own heart
1 kings:15:5
For David had done what was right in the eyes of the Lord and had not failed to keep any of the Lord’s commands all the days of his life—except in the case of Uriah the Hittite.

2.Samson:

A man of tremendous strength and a judge in Israel
Judges:16:30
Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived.
3.Solomon:

A man of great wisdom and knowledge and a great king
1Kings:11:1-6
King Solomon, however, loved many foreign women besides Pharaoh’s daughter—Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites. They were from nations about which the Lord had told the Israelites, “You must not intermarry with them, because they will surely turn your hearts after their gods.” Nevertheless, Solomon held fast to them in love. He had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines, and his wives led him astray. As Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and his heart was not fully devoted to the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father had been. He followed Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and Molek the detestable god of the Ammonites. So Solomon did evil in the eyes of the Lord; he did not follow the Lord completely, as David his father had done.
Whew

• Then how can We escape this?

God says My son My daughter Listen to my words pay attention to what I say
Our answer is God’s word

yes;
When we read His words every morning and evening at least; we are sure His words will lead us and protect us from all evil

How can a young person stay on the path of purity?
By living according to your word.
Psalms:119:9

Little Ant

Dr.Billy Graham once told this story in his sermon.
Consider you are having a talent/gift to create living things; and you start by creating an ant.
And you stop doing all other works and you are focused to do this work alone
You are very fearful and careful to create this ant and when it is finished and the life has been given to it; you see that it starts to walk and wander here and there

This little ant cannot see you because you are so big and huge than him and he can’t hear you also but yet you are so happy to see this tiny little ant

You enjoy your day with him feeding him and playing with him
But suddenly you see him crossing his safety zone and so you tell him Do not Go there my friend
But Because it is tiny it can’t here you
So, you shout at him and then you put your hands against him to stop him move any forward but he climbs over your hands and goes to that side
Now what will you do?
You should become like this little ant and go to him and speak his language and divert him from that place

That’s what our Lord God the Father did

He came in the form flesh and bones and exactly like us

He spoke like us and taught us the right path

This is the Salvation
My friend unlike the story above; God shed his blood, broke his flesh and died on that cross, to show us His love and He is not a dead God now , because He rose again on the 3rd day and He is still alive to give you life

Free, it is Free.

God gave us everything free of cost
Just imagine what will happen if God woud have tagged a price for oxygen we breathe? Or if God tagged a price for water we drink?
Though we humans sell it for money; God has given us many things for free and these free things are eternal
Lets read in our bibles now;

• Free will

John:7:17 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

17 If any man desires to do His will (God’s pleasure),
 he will know (have the needed illumination to recognize, 
 and can tell for himself) whether the teaching is from God 
 or whether I am speaking from Myself 
 and of My own accord and on My own authority.

• Free Gift:

Romans:5:15-17

15 But God’s free gift is not at all to be compared to the trespass 
  [His grace is out of all proportion to the fall of man].
  For if many died through one man’s falling away (his lapse, his offense),
  much more profusely did God’s grace and 
  the free gift [that comes] through the undeserved favor
  of the one Man Jesus Christ abound and
  overflow to and for [the benefit of] many.

16 Nor is the free gift at all to be compared 
  to the effect of that one [man’s] sin.
  For the sentence [following the trespass] of one
  [man] brought condemnation, whereas the free gift
  [following] many transgressions brings justification 
  ([j]an act of righteousness).

17 For if because of one man’s trespass
  (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one,
  much more surely will those who receive
  [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor)
  and the free gift of righteousness 
  [putting them into right standing with Himself]
  reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ
  (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

• Free Inheritance:

Galatians:3:18

18 For if the inheritance [of the promise depends on observing]
  the Law [as these false teachers would like you to believe],
  it no longer [depends] on the promise; however,
  God gave it to Abraham [as a free gift solely] by virtue of His promise.

• Free Salvation and Free Grace:

Ephesians:2:7,8

7 He did this that He might clearly demonstrate
 through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing)
 riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor)
 in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus.

8 For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor)
  that you are saved 
  ([c]delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation)
  through [your] faith. 
  And this [salvation] is not of yourselves
  [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving],
  but it is te gift of God;

• Free Access to God

Ephesians:3:11-13

11 This is in accordance with the terms of the eternal
  and timeless purpose which He has realized and carried
  into effect in [the person of] Christ Jesus our Lord,

12 In Whom, because of our faith in Him,
   we dare to have the boldness (courage and confidence)
   of free access 
   (an unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear).

13 So I ask you not to lose heart
   [not to faint or become despondent through fear]
   at what I am suffering in your behalf. 
   [Rather glory in it] for it is an honor to you.

• Free water of Life:

Revelation:22:17 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMP)

17 The [Holy] Spirit and the bride
  (the church, the true Christians) say,
  Come! And let him who is listening say,
  Come! And let everyone come who is thirsty
  [who is painfully conscious of his need
  of those things by which the soul is refreshed, 
  supported, and strengthened]; 
  and whoever [earnestly] desires to do it,
  let him come, take, appropriate, 
  and drink the water of Life without cost.

There was a man who wanted to go to another country in search of a job, but he had no other options but to travel in a ship; so he some how gained some money to buy the ticket to ride in that ship.

The day of departure had come and he bid farewell to his friends and family.
When he went to the ship he noticed all the people were happy and some where singing, some started to read books, some went to dance, and as you know there are many entertainment in the ship because it takes a many days even months to reach the destination.
So, our friend as soon as he boarded the ship found a nice place near the side of the ship so he was enjoying the nature.

But when it was time to have dinner he did not go the dining hall because he did not have enough money to buy food for himself so he just simply quit it.
Next day our friend was so much hungry he cannot control his hunger; so he went to his bed and cried and cried thinking his poverty.
He prayed to Jesus to help him in this situation; then he slept.

That night the captain of that ship came to meet the passengers and when he came to our friend; the captain said Mr. why are you so sad are you not feeling well?
Our friend replied Sir, I am alright, thanks for your concern
Captain: Are you enjoying the trip?
Our friend said with tears in his eyes But Sir, actually,…Sir I have no money to buy food so I just came here to sleep.
Captain said: If that is the case can I have your ticket please;
Our friend gave him the ticket; the captain said well; this is your ticket only,Did you saw the back side of your ticket?
He said No,sir.
MR. When you got your ticket you have paid money for both travelling and food just turn it sir, the ticket has free food because it is already paid; so you do not need to pay now.
Can you imagine how our friend would have felt and what could have been his immediate reaction?
God has given us many things for free it is our duty to claim it for oursleves and our family.

“I will get up and go to my father”

Hello friends (Welcome to Glory to God site)

I would just like to ask you to remember the day when you said; “I will get up and go to my father”

Yes, I hope you understand the meaning of that phrase; the day when you came to Jesus and said “Lord, I Love You and Accept you”

When I think of that day my heart cherishes and I am so happy and tears of Joy flows from my eyes and my spirit rejoices 

Maturity in spiritual life is important and also it is necessary to remember your first love to Jesus

Everyone of us has lived a sinful life maybe the extent could differ but yet we have all sinned and lost the glory of God 

But; there was a time when my friends ,my family could not help me and I was in a great need of a break through, I had no way out 

It was a time when my spirit whispered to me Do you remember the love of God that once we had; the love that filled us; the love that was always following us, even when we rejected it and forgot about it 

My spirit started to shout at me and cried and said “I want my savior back” 

I cannot live without Him

So, I decided to search for that love; which I thought, I had lost 

But the truth is I was lost so when I searched with all my heart and strength and spirit the love said “I am with you always, I will never leave you nor forsake you, I have not left you even in those times but you missed to realize that I was around you.”

But yet I have the same Love for you 

Jesus became more real to me and I love him

This is the exact story that Jesus told to the people and disciples when He was in this world as a man

Luke:15:11-24

Then He said, “A certain man had two sons.  

 

The younger of them[inappropriately] said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of the property that falls to me.’ So he divided the estate between them. 

 

A few days later, the younger son gathered together everything [that he had] and traveled to a distant country, and there he wasted his fortune in reckless and immoral living.  

Now when he had spent everything, a severe famine occurred in that country, and he began to do without and be in need. So he went and forced himself on one of the citizens of that country, who sent him into his fields to ^[a]feed pigs.  He would have gladly eaten the [carob] pods that the pigs were eating [but they could not satisfy his hunger], and no one was giving anything to him.But when he [finally] came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired men have more than enough food, while I am dying here of hunger!  I will get up and go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; [just] treat me like one of your hired men.”’ So he got up and came to his father.

But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was moved with compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ But the father said to his servants, ‘Quickly bring out the best robe [for the guest of honor] and put it on him; and give him a ^[b]ring for his hand, and sandals for his feet. And bring the fattened calf and slaughter it, and let us [invite everyone and] feast and celebrate;  for this son of mine was [as good as] dead and is alive again; he was lost and has been found.’ So they began to celebrate.

What Jesus Expects from us is the time we utter these words form our heart soul and spirit ;

“I will get up and go to my father, and I will say to him,“Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son;”

Jesus will surely accept us.

Because He is waiting for you to say this

Once a little boy was playing with his sailboat in a river near his father’s farm 

When he was playing ; his sailboat was driven by the winds in the river and the little boy lost his boat

He was really upset

One day he and his group of friends went to the town to do window shopping

There in one of the shops this little boy found a sailboat displayed for sale

So he went in and asked the shop keeper Mister can I see that sail boat 

He replied yes

Then the little boy kept his hands under the sailboat and saw his initials in it

So he immediately went to his father and asked him to give the exact money to buy that boat

Then he went to the same shop and bought that little boat and he said “LITTLE SAILBOAT YOU ARE TWICE MINE” and he told his friends that the little sailboat was twice his

His mother heard him saying this quote and asked him why was he saying that

The little boy was hugging his sail boat and said 

Mommy I am saying the little boat is twice mine because

FIRST I CREATED THIS SAIL BOAT AND SECOND I HAVE BOUGHT THIS BOAT PAYING ITS PRICE

My friends YOU ARE TWICE GOD’S

 

BECAUSE FIRST HE CREATED YOU IN HIS OWN IMAGE WITH HIS OWN HANDS

SECOND HE HAD BOUGHT YOU WITH HIS OWN PRECIOUS AND SPOTLESS BLOOD

YOU ARE TWICE HIS

King’s seal:”There is victory in the blood of Jesus Christ”

Once there lived a man named Claudius, he did not believe in Jesus Christ.

 

But his wife Rebecca, believed in Jesus Christ, so she would always pray for her husband and even ask him to accept Christ but whenever she would speak about Jesus to him or whenever she would pray he would make fun of her 

Rebecca had a practice of saying “there is victory in the blood of Jesus Christ” in any terrible situations

One day Claudius was about to reach a nearby village by walk but it became darker so he was not able to find the way to that village instead he decided to stay somewhere in the night and to start walking in the morning 

But the place he stopped was a thick forest and Claudius was afraid if any animals or devil could attack him when he would sleep; so he thought to stay awake 

But after few hours he fell asleep since he was tired , suddenly he woke up in the middle and he was again afraid but then he remembered his wife and so drew a circle around him in the sand

And on that circle he wrote There is victory in the Blood of Jesus Christ and slept inside that circle.

Then when the sun was risen Claudius woke up and he was happy that nothing harmed him all through the night; and the words which he wrote on the sand was still there but he also saw something written in a few distance away from this words; It said:

The Pot is a broken Pot, but the seal over it is a king’s seal 

written by devils

This man could not control his laughter because he knew that he was that broken pot and the King’s seal was the sentence which he wrote”There is victory in the blood of Jesus Christ”; and devils cannot attack him because he was inside these words

Then he went happily to the village and more than that he now believes Jesus 

My friends we must ask Jesus to cover us with his precious blood everyday in our prayers, never forget to ask for your family members protection;God will turn their hearts soon

 

Blood of Jesus Christ

There lived a man Jason who was an aimless fellow.

Since he was not having any job he cannot take care of his parents and himself.

So, he started to steal things, money, food from people.

He enjoyed his life he felt very happy and he did not care about anyone.

Soon He became a famous thief in his city; many papers carried his name and he was finally arrested by the cops.

Inside the prison he was thinking about his future he was very  much worried.

One evening a preacher came to visit the prisoners and share the Love of God.

He came inside the prison where Jason was imprisoned; he told him about God’s love for him and the forgiveness of sins.

Jason did not like to hear this preacher; so he was rude at him.

Finally the preacher gave him the copy of new testament and he left the prison 

Immediately Jason threw the copy of New testament that the preacher gave him.

      It fell at the corner of the room.

Then He slept.

In his dream he saw his father and mother standing ahead of him and they were calling him to come.

So, Jason immediately ran to them but when he was about to reach them; a huge mountain raised in between them

How hard he tried to go around and climb it he cannot do it; so he went near it and saw that whatever sins he had done was written in each part of the mountain 

So he cried and cried and said “Oh what have I done I am a sinner I cannot reach my parents these sins are standing against me.

I cannot reach them.”

When he looked at the top of the hill he saw a lamb with blood over his body; the blood started to drop on that mountain and Jason saw when the blood touched the mountain each and every part was broken and finally the whole mountain was cleared all because of the blood of the Lamb.

 

Jason woke up from his dream and went to the bible that he threw that night and the page he opened had a verse in it 

the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. 1 John:1:7

Jason understood the meaning of his dream and he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior and now he became a new man in Christ.
